Call for paper Track: 5 Pathology with Technology
12th Emirates Pathology & Digital Pathology Conference on December 21-23, 2022 in Dubai, UAE
Introduction
Digital pathology is the use of information technology in
pathology to facilitate the production, exchange, or sharing of information,
including data and photographs. The ultimate goal is to facilitate the
intricate workflow from specimen receipt to transmission of anatomical
pathology (AP) reports.
AP information systems and digital image analysis systems,
including image capture and processing, are the two main elements of digital
pathology. Digital pathology does more than than link scanners to AP
information systems, though. In order to use the multimodal and multilevel data
generated in AP departments, it is necessary to develop both (a) infrastructure
to facilitate collaboration between various departments and health care
systems, and (b) image analysis methods to process and model the enormous
amount of data included in WSIs in order to provide additional diagnostic
information and assist pathologists during evaluation and diagnosis.
Don't miss the opportunity hurry up submit your
paper at CME/CPD accredited 12th Emirates Pathology & Digital
Pathology Utilitarian Conference, Which is scheduled to held December 21-23
2022, Dubai, UAE
you can submit here https://pathology.universeconferences.com/submit-abstract/
The adoption of standardised diagnostic language and
standards as well as the development of digital tools, including traditional
problems of massive data management and image processing, are the two main
aspects that will increase accurate diagnosis [2]. With the aid of these tools,
all accessible clinical history data may be gathered and combined to help make
a diagnosis and connect pathologists for a second opinion.

What technology is
used in pathology?
The biggest strides in pathology have been made through the
application of genomic-based molecular techniques, including polymerase chain reaction
(PCR), fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), array comparative genomic
hybridization (aCGH), and more recently DNA sequencing.
All of these methods are used to find chromosomal
aberrations that are locus specific or imbalanced and involve a net gain or
loss of genetic material linked to a specific illness state. Each has a part to
play in the particular apps that pathologists employ. More know attend to the 12EPUCG2022 Dubai,

Microscopes continue to be the gold standard for cancer
detection and diagnosis among pathologists. This is for a good purpose. The
bulk of diagnosis made by pathologists do not include any empirical data. By
adjusting the focal planes on the optical instrument, they may determine from
experience the possibility that a sample is aberrant by simply looking at a
well-stained slide. Nevertheless, pathologists have embraced further tests to
aid in fully diagnosing a patient's illness, to the point where in some
circumstances, they are able to inform the referring doctor of the drug the
patient is likely to respond to.

New Techniques
The localisation of many protein and related species
antibodies in a single segment from the same material is known as multiplexing.
The localisation of important proteins and their contemporaneous interaction
with particular cell compartments or cell types are made easier by
multiplexing. Multiple facets of a cell can be measured simultaneously. By
using new multiplexing techniques, automated multispectral slide imaging
techniques, and new protein expression procedures, novel studies in digital
pathology are emerging. The focus of modern oncological tests is on
immunohistochemistry (IHC) techniques and multispectral analysis with the
previously described image processing and pattern recognition techniques. To
assess the usefulness of this innovative multiplex IHC, the expression profiles
of each marker can be assessed separately in a singleplex experiment or
collectively in a multiplex assay. Fluorescence is largely used in
multiplexing, either with conventional fluorochromes or quantum dots (qdots).
Multiple targets can mix together due to fluorescence, and tissue
autofluorescence can be seen in multiplexed stained samples in contemporary
practise. Errors in visual perception can be attributed to such. Multispectral
unmixing can be used to correct these issues.
By showing coexpression, route topologies, and spatial
interactions among cell types in oncology, multispectral analysis has a wide
range of potential for building combinatorial therapeutic methods.

Conclusions
The use of digital pathology and WSI technologies has the
potential to boost workflow effectiveness, balance workloads, and improve image
integration in information systems. Complex, automated, and miniaturised
technologies will be able to extract an ever-increasing amount of information
from a tissue sample, and powerful computer-based algorithms will help in the
integration of all the information.
Utilizing standards and creating and validating image
analysis tools are the two primary factors that will promote the use of digital
pathology in clinical practise.
